Youth MOVE National has been fighting for the voice of youth and young adults for more than a decade—and it has taken almost as long for us to craft a visual look that we believe truly represents us. But since the beginning, the core of our voice and our identity has remained. We are youth-driven, bold, friendly, and clear.
This toolkit will prepare you for how we talk about our brand and our work as well as how we’d like to be visually represented. We understand not everyone is going to stick to every single guideline, and we don’t expect you to. But if you follow this more often than not: it would make us quite happy.
Whether you’re staff, one of our partners, or otherwise, the Communications Guidelines will help you represent us. It includes suggestions about our voice and tone, how to use our logos, what colors to use, words in our lexicon, and so much more.
