Michael Collado is the Communications Coordinator at Youth MOVE National. He is a graduate of Florida International University, located in Miami, Florida, with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Mass Communication.

Michael first joined the Youth MOVE family as an intern for Youth MOVE Miami in March 2014. During his time there he has designed promotional material, produced outreach videos, run social media stigma reduction campaigns, and has led workshops for youth on using multimedia as a means of advocacy.

He hopes his background and, admittedly, tech-inclined approach brings a certain value in social marketing TA, and is excited to continue his efforts at a larger scale.

He created a task force and later his own nonprofit to tackle these issues. Jacob, you’re a #RockStar! #promotehealthequity
