Organizational Transparency
As an organization, we believe transparency is vital to our mission, vision, values, and to building trusting, sustainable relationships with our Chapters, partner organizations, and the youth we serve.
In that spirit, we offer the following…
The majority of our staff, Board, Chapters, and those we serve are:
- Youth or young adults (our Board of directors is mandated to be at least 60% including the Board President)
- Black, Indigenous, Asian, and other People of Color (BIAPOC)
- Two-Spirit, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex, Asexual / Aromantic, and hold other non-exclusively heterosexual and/or cisgender identities (2SLGBTQIA+)
- Identify as having a disability
- Identify as having some combination of mental illness, co-occurring serious mental illness, and/or are on a substance use journey
- And 100% have lived and/or living experience being systems impacted
All Staff Receive:
- 160 hours of paid time off a year (no matter seniority or positionality)
- 24 hours of personal time (with intended use for volunteerism and/or spiritual activities)
- All paid federal holidays
- A paid week between Christmas Eve and New Year’s Day
- A $1,500 yearly professional development budget
- A $1,500 monthly health benefit stipend for the Affordable Care Act Open Marketplace
