Technical Assistance (TA)
Youth MOVE National is a partner organization with the HRSA-funded National Center for Adolescent and Young Adult Health and Well-Being, which is housed within the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). As a partner organization, Youth MOVE National can provide technical assistance and training free of charge to state adolescent health teams and their partners (e.g. community-based organizations, local and state health departments, youth-serving organizations, mental health providers, health care professionals) on the following topics:
- Youth engagement and recruitment for projects
- Youth advisory boards/councils/groups
- Training for adults on how to best support youth
- Trauma-informed support, mental health, and suicide prevention
- Positive youth development
- Youth peer support
- Organization assessment and readiness regarding youth engagement
- Evaluation, continuous quality improvement, and feedback regarding youth engagement
