Audio Stories is a project created to look at the important work that youth and young adults across the nation are doing in areas of mental health and other youth-serving systems to highlight the achievements surrounding topics that advocate for change in the nation!

Mariah Larkin (they/them) is the System of Care Youth Engagement Specialist at the Minnesota Association for Children’s Mental Health. In collaboration with NAMI MN, Wilder Research, and the Minnesota Department of Services, they offer training and technical assistance to the counties, region, and Tribe who are a part of the Minnesota System of Care Project. Prior to taking on their role at MACMH, Mariah worked as a Substitute Teacher for the Minneapolis Public Schools, and a Teaching Artist for Stepping Stone Theatre. Mariah is also an active member of the Twin Cities theatre community, with a focus on directing. They are passionate about systems change, storytelling, and youth empowerment.
