Youth M.O.V.E Massachusetts is a chapter of Youth M.O.V.E. National, a youth-led national organization. Youth M.O.V.E. National members work as a diverse collective to unite the voices and causes of youth while raising awareness around youth issues. We will advocate for youth rights and voice in mental health and the other systems that serve them, for the purpose of empowering youth to be equal partners in the process of change. Youth M.O.V.E provides community-based individual and group peer support, youth and young adult resources and referrals, as well as youth-specific trainings on a variety of topics (i.e. Strategic Sharing, Professional Development Skills, LGBTQI+, etc.). We also provide training and coaching to organizations who employ peer mentors, as well as employ young adults with lived experience within our own agency. Youth M.O.V.E advocates on a state and national level for services that support the unique service needs of youth and young adults and collaborates with state systems for better policies and services for youth and young adults.
