At Youth MOVE National, we believe in the power of proximity – being close to the voices that matter most. That’s why our local chapters are at the heart of everything we do. In a country as vast and diverse as ours, real change doesn’t happen from the top down – it starts with the youth in communities who are empowered, heard, and equipped to lead.

Our 40+ Youth MOVE Chapters are more than partners – they’re catalysts for systems change. They’re the trusted voices in the room, and the champions of change in towns, cities, and neighborhoods across the country. Together, we are building a movement – not from one office, but from every corner of the nation.

Youth MOVE National wants to help anyone under 30 with a passion for youth advocacy and activism to create a Chapter, regardless of their size, location, or funding, or any other circumstances!

The Youth MOVE chapter application process is created to ensure that groups are truly youth-driven and ready to successfully engage in our national network of youth advocates.

In 2025 alone, our Chapters reached 7,699 individuals directly and touched the lives of 478,124 more through ripple-effect engagement. Whether meeting weekly, monthly, or even multiple times per week, these young leaders consistently show up for their peers and their communities. It’s a rhythm of connection that fuels resilience, belonging, and momentum.

Each chapter’s work is as diverse as the youth they serve, yet all are united by shared purpose.

87.5% provide youth leadership and advocacy training,
87.5% conduct community outreach and stigma reduction efforts,
87.5% host social or recreational programming to foster connection and belonging,
70.8% facilitate participation on advisory councils,
66.7% provide navigation and referral services,
62.5% offer skill development groups

These numbers tell a deeper story: one of passion, purpose, and the critical role local chapters play in advancing social justice, holistic wellness, and equity for young people. This isn’t just programming; it’s life-changing work driven by youth who know firsthand what their communities need.

Pascua Yaqui Tribe Youth MOVE led the planning and implementation of a week-long R.I.S.E (Resilient, Indigenous, Spirit, Empowered) program during the Fall 2025 school break with 30 youth aged 13-17 to grow in empowerment and leadership.

Youth MOVE Pinellas organized the Waves of Resiliency Beach Cleanup, where youth leaders partnered with community organizations to clean the shoreline while also promoting mental health and community connection. As part of the event, youth helped assemble and distribute 60 hurricane preparedness kits for families in their area.

Youth MOVE PA hosts their yearly Wellness Days. In 2025, these drew 479 youth and families, the largest attendance yet!

In 2025, Youth MOVE Nevada engaged over 400 community members, created and distributed 3,000 Mental Health Wellness Activity Books and 2,300 Bullying Prevention Activity Books, reaching high schools across Nevada and providing valuable resources to support youth well-being.

2025 Chapter of the Year

We are thrilled to announce Youth MOVE National’s 2025 Chapter of the Year – Youth MOVE Massachusetts!

It’s safe to say Youth MOVE Mass has been all over the map – in a good way. There hasn’t been a month where we didn’t see a fantastic newsletter or a youth-led training or a youth leader helping us with external opportunities like being a panelist on our American Academy of Pediatrics project. Youth MOVE Mass is one of our longest-standing Chapters – and this type of engagement is why!

Youth MOVE Chapter Impact!

We launched our organization officially in the late summer of 2024. Our board worked very hard to accomplish our 2nd Annual Mental Health Summit.We had the goal to service more youth than we did last year. Last year we serviced about 5 to 10 youth. Our board had less than 6 months to plan,organize, fund, and execute the event. We successfully serviced over 60 youth, bringing in 7 community resources as vendors, and 14 speakers.Allspeakers, vendors, and community resources aided us in presenting a day of education, conversation, destigmatization and education on youth mental health.The emphasis of the event was to provide youth and families with insight and tools to cope and manage one's mental health and the varying experiences we live.

Youth MOVE PA has been diligently advocating, educating, and promoting recovery for youth and young adults across Pennsylvania. Our Thrive for Hope support group has seen significant growth, increasing from 2 youth per meeting to nearly 10. Our Wellness Days summer events continue to attract more attendees each year, and we are proud to offer the 5th Annual Wellness Days this summer. Our training department has also grown significantly, making a dynamic impact on attendees by providing them with tools for their recovery journey and personal development. We have successfully built relationships with organizations throughout the state, allowing partnerships to form that can be used to create better services for youth. Lastly, Youth MOVE PA has established an Advisory Council comprised of 9 youth and young adults from across Pennsylvania. They provide invaluable leadership that shapes the future of Youth MOVE PA. Through these efforts, we are making a positive difference in the lives of young people and fostering a supportive community that empowers them to thrive. Our commitment to advocacy, education, and recovery remains steadfast as we continue to grow and expand our reach. We look forward to the future and the opportunities it holds for furthering our mission and making a lasting impact on the youth of Pennsylvania.

We work to elevate and empower Youth Voice to advocate for systematic change to create better systems for New Mexico Youth. With a very diverse population, we encourage our young people to use their lived expertise. Youth MOVE New Mexico Chapter members help Supportive adults understand and reflect on how to build more youth centric opportunities and services through the Youth MOVE New Mexico Youth Engagement Trainings. Youth MOVE New Mexico Members are also asked to participate in local community conversations surrounding Mental and Behavioral Health.
