Rockstar Feature: Change Matrix

The 2020 Rockstar Awards have come to a close, and there are so many people to thank for the amazing RAVE we had on Twitch. This year, we introduced the Rockstar Fundraiser, a way to sponsor Rockstars and give them perks to help them in their professional journey for youth advocacy in mental health. We had two very generous sponsors and want to highlight the phenomenal work they do to help youth and young adults change systems for the better!

With a vision of equitable, inclusive, and resilient communities being supported by collaborative systems, Change Matrix is a women- and minority-owned small business that has been working to motivate, manage, and measure change to improve lives for over a decade. We host a variety of projects like the National Network to Eliminate Disparities in Behavioral Health, Expanding the Bench, and much more. Despite the differences in scope among all these projects, what each holds in common is a focus on leading the charge in equity, adaptive leadership, and culturally responsive and equitable evaluation.

“We recognize that there is great strength in bringing together a wide range of experiences, knowledge, and ideas to creatively and productively meet the needs of children, families, and communities just as Youth Move does,” said Elizabeth Waetzig, co-founder of Change Matrix.

We were excited to sponsor Youth Move’s Rockstar Awards Virtual Edition event and support the organization’s efforts to unite the voices of youth. Change Matrix and Youth MOVE partner on CONNECTED, which focuses on engaging young adults in community mental health, and the National Training and Technical Assistance Center for Child, Youth & Family Mental Health.
